Forward To Basics
This for me is hopefully where I go from zero to hero, fingers crossed.I have just recently joined the Alex Jefferys Marketing With Alex course, and have started by going forward to basics.Very quickly I learned more in a few weeks than I have in the last year.
It soon became very clear what I have been doing wrong over the last year and given me a much clearer view to seeing my goals in growing my business online.First of all I now believe that without a good mentor and a good plan you are just going to be banging your head against the wall.It is now obvious to me that with the good mentor you will be taught and shown how to set out your plan, and believe me once you have made a plan everything becomes a little easier.
For me setting out a plan has freed my mind of so much crap and left me feeling so much better towards the on coming tasks and hurdles that are up in front of me.The reason I am saying this is because for the last four or five months I have been sitting in front of the computer like a headless chicken, not really achieving anything.Ok I have made a few hundred dollars here and there, but I have spent a hell of a lot more than that.
Now I am really starting to feel great about myself and have started to move forward instead of going backwards all of the time. I have just installed The Profit Pulling Platform, set up Google Analytics to my blog and website so I can see where all the traffic is coming from and started to build my list slowly but surely by giving away a Free Master Resell Rights Ebook that Alex has give me,so the only way is up as far as I am concerned.
Cheers Alex

Hey Derek,
I completely feel your pain about the planning of everything. This is the most important thing I’ve learned and finally implemented from AJ’s teachings. Since then I’ve felt soooo productive and have made some great steps forward.
My favorite tool now is the countdown timer. If you haven’t checked it out yet, go to: http://www.online-stopwatch.com/
That thing has cut down a lot of wasted time in my life so far!
I hope that helps. Talk soon, my friend.

Awesome Derek,
You are on the right path. Making a few hundred here and there is more than 95% of people ever make online. You should consider that a huge achievement in itself. Being a part of the Alex Jeffreys coaching, it will only go up from here!

Hey Derek,
Thanks for heading over to check out my blog
You sound a bit like me for the last few months..doing quite a lot of not a lot!! It is so true, this course is just awesome!!
I would recommend getting a link to your PPP over in the sidebar at the top somewhere if you can. I know you have it in this post, but you want to make it as EASY as possible for people to find this to build your list!
Give me a shout if I can help.
Awesome job,
Paul

Derek,
Yep, a plan really helps. And don’t forget your goals, because that’s what the plan is supposed to help you achieve.
Plans and goals are the way to trick our minds and bodies out of the way were made in first place… (Survivors).
Keep up the great posts.

Hi Derek,
when you said you were like a headless chicken for the last few months, it was like I was talking to myself! Alex’s first module “Forward to Basics” has certainly touched the areas I need to immensely improve on, too! And whilst I have not really set up a written plan yet, things are starting to become clearer in my head, and I get ready to put it all on paper…:) Great blog, Derek!

Derek
A great start, planning has really helped me to focus my activity and stop rushing around from one project to the next.
Keep up the good work.

What a great site. I am loving it. What is the layout called? Is it a WP Skin?
