While a lot of marketers promote internet marketing as an idle way to generate money. To a certain extent, it is. But if you talk about list building, it’s definitely not a lazy way to make money.
Most people think they will get away with an opt-in form and people will flood into your list, you’ll be wondering why your list building effort is in vain.
First of all, you have got to ask yourself the following questions:
- Is your sales letter powerful enough to get people’s attention?
- Is your offer appealing enough such that people bother to opt-in to get it?
- Is your sales letter convincing enough to get people to take immediate action?
If your answer is ‘no’ to any of the 3 questions, you should first brush up your copywriting and marketing skills, before even talking about where to get the traffic.
If this sounds like hard work just do as I did and team up with someone who knows about every different aspect of list building.The bottom line is you can spend an entire lifetime building a decent size list or jump in the fast lane under a mentors wing.I teamed up with a guy called Alex Jefferies who has helped me so much in the short time I have been with him.
The main thing is to get your list building campaign up and running,you can always go back and make a few adjustments at a later stage to get it working a bit better. First question is where do you start or how do you start? There are many ways to build a list without having to spend a dime in advertising,but what I personally advise is to download this free ebook and make sure that you read and take in every part of it,and then see what a dramatic difference it will make on how you can build a huge list very quickly and free of cost.
